Základem úspěchu je chladné zimování. Zimuji s kaktusy na parapetě při 10ti °C. Před tím zavěšena pod jabloní, loňské jarní mrazíky se jí samozřejmě nijak nedotkly.
Téměř nezalévám, jen lehce cca 1x za 14dní porosím odpoledne za svitu slunce. Okna jsou na západ.
A tu se objevil na dvou pahlízách květní stvol. Radost převeliká!
Jak známo, v tomto rodu panuje značný nepořádek, takže například na webové encyklopedii mariae a citrinu pod prosthecheu samozřejmě nenajdete. Ale najdete tam haldu jiných:

Euchile Withner 1998 SUBFAMILY Epidendroideae, TRIBE Epidendreae, SUBTRIBE Laeliinae.
This newly formed genus was obtained by removing two species from the genus Encyclia that just did not fit as they have a glaucous appearance of gray or gray green foliage and psuedobulbs along with a central tooth on the apex of the lip that tends to be fleshy and is longer than the the two lateral teeth extending beyond the anther cap.
